The catcher in the rye is a classic. I feel as though this book earned and deserves its title as a classic. It was an amazing and interesting book with a much deeper meaning underneath. It captures the feelings that almost all teenagers are feeling on a lighter level but it has such a deep meaning to it. Not only that but is a great story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the majority of the time. Almost as though you don't wanna put it down. I recommend this book to those who enjoy realistic fiction or classics. This book was a great storyline with a deep meaning.
